Books, books, books

One of my favorite things to do is sit down with a good book.  I have always loved reading books.  I have come to love certain authors too.  If a new release comes out, you know I will be the first to have a copy!  At one point, I was reading so much that it was hard to retain all the information.  I decided it was time to start writing small book reports on each one with my main takeaways.  Then I had the idea that it would be fun to do a book review of one of my favorites and post it on YouTube.  Now I'm addicted.  If you have any recommendations, I am always happy to add to my growing library!

Burnout - The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle
Come As You Are

When it comes to female sexuality, this book should be required reading. If you don’t believe me, go check out the 64,000+ reviews on Good Reads or the 5,400+ reviews on Amazon! Emily Nagoski makes it easy for everyone, even those of us without PhD’s in human sexuality, to understand how our bodies work. One of the most popular concepts in this book was Burnout. So many people resonated with this topic that Emily and her sister wrote another book called “Burnout.”

She Comes First

This book has me convinced that Ian Kerner is a genius. This is one of my favorite and most recommended books. This book is the answer to close the pleasure and orgasm gap. Ian provides detailed and easy-to-understand step by step instructions to providing your female partner with the most magical experience of her life. This book is so easy to read and digest, if you follow his instructions, you will become at master at giving the gift of oral sex!

Girls & Sex
Boys & Sex

This book is absolutely brilliant. There is no shortage of books on the topic of women and sex or female sexuality, although when it comes to boys that’s another story. Boys and Sex was a breath of fresh air. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate a fresh perspective on issues that affect boys everyday. We seldom think of the way our culture affects boys and their sexuality but this book makes an excellent job of educating us.
